Those candidates who have uploaded the documents already through Pre-Allotment Document Upload option, are required to review and submit them finally mandatorily and complete remaining activities (if any), otherwise provisionally allotted seat will be cancelled and the candidate will not be considered for the seat allocation in the subsequent rounds.
INTRODUCTION
The Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) 2025 has been set up by the Ministry of Education [erstwhile Ministry of Human Resources Development (MHRD)] to manage and regulate the joint seat allocation for admissions to 127 institutes for the academic year 2025-26. This includes 23 IITs, 31 NITs, IIEST Shibpur, 26 IIITs and 47 Other-Government Funded Technical Institutes (Other-GFTIs). Admission to all the academic programs offered by these Institutes will be made through a single platform.
Candidates whose category was changed from OBC-NCL/GEN-EWS/SC/ST to GEN category and/or PwD status changed from Yes to No during Document Verification in JoSAA Rounds due to non-submission of a valid category certificate may request restoration of their original category status at https://csab.nic.in between 24-Jul-2025 (10 am) and 25-Jul-2025 (5 pm). It is mandatory to pay Partial Admission Fee (PAF) during 23 to 27 July (5 pm) 2025 to avoid cancellation of your provisionally offered seat in the NIT+ system.
CANDIDATE ACTIVITY BOARD
Those candidates who have paid the Seat Acceptance Fee already through pre-payment option, are required to submit your willingness (Freeze, Float, Slide) and upload all the relevant documents mandatorily. Failure to submit the willingness (Freeze, Float, Slide) and upload all the relevant documents by the deadline will lead to cancellation of the provisionally allotted seat and the candidate will not be considered for the seat allocation in the subsequent rounds.
